So today was thanksgiving. Was bummed to not be with my family in Hawaii but I made the best of it. Truly enjoyed slowing down and enjoying getting laundry done. My plant had to be killed. So I got a new succulent. ONLY WATER ONCE IN WINTER. Made some bomb ass turkey chilli with avocado and sour cream. ICONIC. So below is what I am thankful for.

Such a busy few days. Am really excited to have the next three days off. Bummed to be missing Hawaii time but am excited for some downtime alone. On the agenda……

So happy it’s my Friday. Work has been crazy. Hung with lady g and Marcelle last night so fun. Excited for my weekend. Shopping cleaning and fun!

Craving pudding in a huge way.

Woke up to some stressful news. Employee called in sick again. Just feels kind of absurd. Having called in sick more times in 6 months then I have in my entire professional career. Had to text and email folks. Over it. My oldest and most cherished plant has been attacked by bugs. Was upset and worried that I would have to put it down. Decide to heavy water it and see what happens. Sigh. Really over the Bay Area. Want to try something new and just don’t know for sure how to exactly. Sigh. Spent the day cleaning, laundering and watching Days Of Our Lives. Not bad but would give anything to walk the river trail or bidwell park. Anything. My highlight of the weekend was spotting an english bulldog. Made me sooooo happy. So the list continues……….

My day started hungover. Then got some amazing farm table coffee. Shower plus green apples and almond butter made it all better. Grabbed some meaty chilli with Amy and then watched Hoover. Not to impressed with it but we got free passes to our next movie. Came home took a bath watched Tilda Swinton in the deep end. Read in the bath and used my lush bath bomb…….Went to Noelle’s with Sanj and played Wild Hearts. So much Stevie Nicks love. Plus it was so fun watching other peoples favorites. My cover selection of the killers mr. brightside was a hit. 

Must get laundry done tomorrow.

And I couldn’t be happier. A lovely chance to slow down. Not feel the jolt of getting up and going. Slightly hungover. Don’t know why I went out last night but I did. Was sort of fun. But am also just so very much over it. Focusing on friends, activities and magic.

The sun is shinning. 8 hours until the weekend. So excited. But stressed. My list keeps growing and being refined.
